About me
January 13th, 2010I was born in Argentina, graduated as an architect from Buenos Aires National University and pursued studies of drawing, painting and set design at the Buenos Aires National School
of Arts.
I live and I have my workplace in the popular neighborhood of La Boca.
I´m currently working as an architect and as a painter.
I have held numerous collective and solo exhibitions in Argentina since 1980.
Many of my works have been purchased by private collectors.
As an Argentinian painter, I o feel that the colours of my paintings have been inspired and are deeply involve by small Jewish towns -schtetles- in Europe, especially in Russia, from where my parents and granparents come many years ago.
Most of the faces appear in my paintings are related with the Jewish European features but not in a conscious way, it something that just happens like as the subject of my works.
I´m also deeply involve with my city , Buenos Aires, my neighborhood, La Boca and the tango music that I love so much and also dance.
I´m working about women, acrobats and homages. and about tango. At the present is open an exhibition of my works at the Consulate of Argentina in New York.
